When it’s cold, your body has to work harder to maintain its core body temperature . Winter is also the time that aggravates medical conditions like arthritis and the freezing winter wind can turn our skin and hair dry.

Use Lukewarm Water
It is very tempting to go for hot showers when the temperature is dipping. But if you love your skin, avoid using hot water. Instead, use lukewarm water for bath and wash your face. Using Hot showers dries your skin , and if you do not moisturize it immediately, your skin can develop cracks and winter eczema. Once you have taken a lukewarm shower, apply a moisturizer to your skin.
Care Your Skin
- Face : Since the skin of our face is more sensitive, so we should use an oil-based moisturizer, rather than a water-based moisturizer so that the oil forms a protective layer on the skin and retains moisture on your face.
- Hands : Apply a moisturizer before you go out.
- Feets : Clean and moisturize your feet . Wash feet with non-foaming hydrating cleanser , to keep foot skin from drying further.
Drinking enough water helps your to skin stay young and wrinkle free. Do not forget to keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water everyday during winter season.
